Studio Photography: From Concept to Print Info: Saturday Feb 4th-5th, 2012 • 9am-4pm Location: University of Hawaii, Manoa Campus: Cost: $TBD Details: Join Mike Adrian and Scott Jo in this two-day concept lighting and post production workshop. Day 1 includes: Learning how to control artificial light, exploring which lighting techniques are best suited to a particular subject and setting. Setting up live shooting and editing on location. Day 2 will walk you through how to take your studio images and give them a finished/professional look in post production. Image will be prepped for Web and Print. Leave this class with a understanding on how to create professional assignment and portrait work for clients or your portfolio. About Mike: Mike Adrian, specializing in documenting destination weddings worldwide, works with clients to capture their best moments on their wedding day. His work has been featured in national wedding publications, and he has worked and taught alongside some of the industries most talented photographers. In a few short years, he has become a leader within the professional photography community. About Scott: Scott Jo has been in the forefront of digital photography since its early stages. After studying photography at Art Center College of Design, he collaborated with digital imaging manufacturers such as Nikon, Epson, Fuji,Altamira Group,Adobe, and Kodak starting the late 90’s. He worked exclusively for Epson for five years in their marketing department before venturing on to shooting fashion, commercial, and portraits in LA's fashion district. Currently, he works for Canon USA as a professional market specialist, traveling around the country training and solving technical problems for professional photographers & studios.
